LEELA PAINTINGS to inspire wild playfulness and creative ecstasy
There is a way of creating art that is not based on technique or any specific talent nor is it meant to produce a planned aesthetic outcome. This way is to tune in to the moment and receive (often spontaneous and unexpected) guidance through listening, sensing, & feeling, and most of all trusting.
Variations of this approach have been the custom of indigenous cultures going back many centuries. In the 1970's Michelle Cassou and Stewart Cubley developed an approach they sometimes refer to as Process Painting. This practice goes by many different names, Leela calls it Meditative Painting. It is very effective for heightening intuition as well as healing creative and personal blockage.
